Altars Engage

So, over the last couple of weeks there have been a set of 4 altars that have appeared in the city. One on each of the Open Houses (Alliance of the Eclipse, Peace Corpse, House Calenture, and Order of the Light) facades. These altars spin in place, and project a dark purple beam of light upwards beyond what observers can easily see.

Like the Void on House Calenture's facade (Which is still present and the altar at HC seems to interact with somehow), these altars allow mares (Mainly darks, but Datoken have been seen using them as well) direct access to the house Facades from the Dark Awakening. A recently awoken self proclaimed Dreamwright, Texere, has said that he will look into them.

Akkadian, Elder Teacher and Teaching Lead for the city, has also investigated them and informed the city that the Altars are tied to Chaos. He went on to advise that there is always a balance, and that the houses without altars don't have any VISIBLE effect. But 4 of Chaos requires 4 of Light for Balance.

Currently, any time anyone investigates the altars, they are attacked by Darkmares or Kotoke Holow. Last evening, it was revealed that the Altars were initially constructed by Silk Nuvas (A mercenary Artificer, once allied/membered with the Consortium) and placed by Kotoke Holow.

Stay tuned for further updates on this.
